On Friday 15th November under a heavy rain we headed to Padova to visit MUSME (Museum of Medicine) with the Biology students of IB one.
After a stop in Kentucky Fried Chicken we entered the museum. Its virtual, interactive, Sibilla de Cetto the founder,received us, after knocking a door knob.She was the founder of the old St Francis Hospital with her husband Baldo de Bonafarii. Also Andrea Vesalio talks about his investigations. Its impresing the anatomical theatre with an enormous human boddy. Also Galileo Galilei presents investigations.There is an iron lung very real! Students were captivated by the history and the sciences.
