🌿🌍 Growing Change at School! 🌍🌿

A big shoutout to our IGCSE 1 Global Perspectives students who have turned ideas into action! This dedicated group of students has designed and planted a beautiful rosemary and lavender garden in our school courtyard — not just to beautify the space, but to help counteract air pollution and raise awareness about clean air.

The students carried out this activity as part of their IGCSE Global Perspectives course and will be submitting it to Cambridge as part of their final exam. Their project blends research, sustainability, and teamwork — and it’s just getting started!

This September, the initiative will expand into the classroom, with each of our four Pio X International classrooms receiving their very own air-purifying plant to look after — keeping our air clean and our minds fresh.

Together, we are learning that small actions grow big change.

🌿🌍 Coltiviamo il Cambiamento a Scuola! 🌍🌿

Un grande applauso ai nostri incredibili studenti IGCSE1 di Global Perspectives, che hanno trasformato le idee in azione! Questo gruppo di studenti motivati ha progettato e piantato un bellissimo giardino di rosmarino e lavanda nel cortile della scuola — non solo per abbellire lo spazio, ma anche per contribuire a contrastare l’inquinamento atmosferico e sensibilizzare sull’importanza dell’aria pulita.

Gli studenti hanno svolto questa attività come parte del loro corso IGCSE di Global Perspectives e la presenteranno a Cambridge come parte del loro esame finale. Il loro progetto unisce ricerca, sostenibilità e lavoro di squadra — e questo è solo l’inizio!

A settembre, l’iniziativa si estenderà anche alle aule, e ciascuna delle nostre 4 classi internazionali riceverà una pianta depurativa da curare — per mantenere l’aria pulita e le menti fresche.

Insieme stiamo imparando che le piccole azioni fanno nascere grandi cambiamenti. Bravissimi, ragazzi!
